Hi I am Jivar

There was a time when I moved through the world without truly seeing it.

Life meant motion, always forward, always achieving. I measured meaning in progress, in productivity, in the body’s ability to respond to will.

But life has a way of unraveling what we think we know.

When I became paralyzed due to multiple sclerosis, everything I once relied on fell away. I had to relearn how to walk. And in that stillness, not chosen, but imposed, I was forced to stop. To feel. To surrender.

At first, I resisted. I feared the silence. But slowly, the silence spoke.

As I surrendered, the world became louder. Colors deepened.

Time stretched.

The air carried whispers I had never noticed before.

That’s when painting became my temple , a sacred space where I could feel everything I didn’t have words for.

I create surreal, symbolic worlds full of bold color and deep emotion, where every piece is an invitation to slow down, feel, and reconnect.

Thank you for being here.
